A safe place to think & talk.

I provide a non-judgemental space to process whatever is on your mind.

My Approach

Life can be difficult. Perhaps challenging or overwhelming.

I provide a safe space to think. To process and reflect. To be heard and listened to.

It’s a non-judgemental place where anything can be said.

I became a counsellor because I needed that non-judgemental, empathic space to process my stuff. To talk to someone not directly involved in my life.

I found what I needed in therapy.

I am a qualified mental health counsellor. My approach as a counsellor reflects what helped me as a client. I provide a space to talk, process and to be heard without any judgement. I offer empathy and will try to understand your experience as you experience it. Together we can illuminate your challenges and problems in the hope that you can understand them better and decide how you want to deal with them.

I work in a person-centred and psychodynamic way. I believe the relationship we develop is the key to exploring your experience. I work with people on a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationships, ASD and ADHD. I work with adults and young people aged 16+.

I have a client-focussed approach. So I work your way. I offer sessions face-to-face, by phone, online or a mix of all three. Whatever works best for you. For face-to-face work I am based in Bromsgrove.

I realise that choosing a counsellor, making contact and arranging to speak may not be easy. So on this site you’ll find my answers to common questions plus more about me and how I work.

When you’re ready, I’m available by phone or email. I offer a no-obligation, no-cost 30 minute informal chat by phone, online or face-to-face. You can ask me any questions and see if I am the right counsellor for you.

Whatever you choose to do, I hope you find the support you seek.

About Me

I became a counsellor because of my own experience of counselling. I ran my own business for several years. Before that I worked in UK companies managing large teams. I realise now that my interest then was always in people rather than commerce.

Counselling helped me work out who I am and what matters to me, rather than what the world wanted me to be. It was the start of a journey that has led me here, to working with clients.

Counselling Your Way

To provide counselling that works best for you, I offer face to face, online and phone sessions, or a mix of all three. If you’re not sure which might suit you best, we can talk to this through.

For face to face work I am based at St John’s Counselling in Bromsgrove.
